The model may only choose from this list. Paprika keeps every category an import creates — on every synced device, even after the recipe is gone — so a free-typing model would slowly fill your library with near-duplicates.
Counted from the token usage OpenAI reports on every call, priced with the published rates — not an estimate per recipe, but do check your OpenAI dashboard for the number that actually gets billed.
Nothing spent yet
Puts every photo you gave the model into the recipe, full-frame and big enough to read the page, alongside the recipe’s own picture. Adds roughly 300–500 KB per photo. Paprika’s multi-photo field is the one part of the format nobody has published a working example of — if an import ever misbehaves, turn this off.
How a Paprika file gets into Paprika
- Tap Save when iOS asks where to put it.
- In the Download complete bar, tap Open In…
(or the ↓ button beside the address bar, then the file) - Choose Paprika 3.
Sharing straight from the app can’t list Paprika: iOS hands a web app’s file over untyped, so it only offers apps that take anything. A downloaded file is a real file, and Paprika claims it.
Generates .paprikarecipes files for Paprika Recipe Manager 3 — the same form Paprika itself shares, so it imports on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Photos, ratings and categories travel inside the file.
